The 2010 Bison Bicycle Classic will be held September 25th, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the OBU Wellness Center. There will be 25 and 50 mile rides plus two kids rides. Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children. I don’t know much about the ride except that it is sponsored by OBU and that the proceeds go to support Habitat for Humanity. Last year on the 50 mile route, the sag support was not very good.
I needed help after throwing a bladed spoke. Waited and waited.
In fact, made it to a rest stop, asked the person there when the
sag would be back again. She said “I don’t know what you’re talking
about”…..great.
Also, you brought us in on Hiway 9. In light of the fact that there have
been cyclist killed this year, most recently this week in Stillwater, are
you still bringing people in on Hiway 9?
I would be interested in knowing the answers. As a member of the Bicycle
League of Norman, and hosting both Tuesday and Thursday night rides in
Norman, I will be sure to let our riders know of your plans. I’m serious about
